The talented fashion designer and illustrator Connie Lim, based in Los Angeles, California, explains her stunning work as her freedom of creative thought, the unseen part of herself. Through her fascinating series of Fashion Playing Cards she created a world of her own, where she placed glamorous girls into playing card themes, deriving inspiration from aged buildings and her love of Gareth Pugh to her feminine images and pieces.

The playing card series reminds me of Skye Nicolas' white paintings, in which he was first to use playing card iconography.
